1# Reetha

Reetha is very commonly used for restoring the shine and lustre of your hair. It is also used for cleaning up the scalp and treating many fungal infections as well. The shell of reetha is absorbed in the water for few hours and it releases saponins that helps in removing dirt and grime from your scalp. Reetha also promotes hair growth and prevents hair breakage as well.

Reetha also helps in taming the dandruff and dry scalp problems. Take about a dozen of reetha and then add 5 cups of water. Keep it on the medium heat and let it boil for 10-15 minutes. Leave it overnight in a bowl and in the morning crush it gently in the same water to retain saponins.

Strain this liquid and store in a bottle so that you can use it as and when you need it. Massage it well into the roots of your hair and after 20 minutes, wash off your hair with cold water. Your hair will become shiny and softer.

You can also prepare aloe vera shampoo by mixing 2 tbs of aloe vera gel, 1 tbs of honey and half cup of apple cider vinegar.
