Piles are inflamed hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are clumps or masses of tissue that is filled with blood vessels, muscles and elastic tissues in the rectum. When these masses grew in size and inflames they are called as piles.

Blood and mucus in stool may be a symptom of the piles. The doctor may ask some questions regarding stool color, current weight and current changes of bowel movements. Digital rectal examination and Proctoscopy may help to detect internal hemorrhoids and piles.

  4. Apple cider vinegar to treat piles- Soak a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar and apply it on hemorrhoids or pile. This will give instant relief from pain and itching. Add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to half cup of water and drink it daily. This solution will cure the symptoms of piles including pain and bleeding.
