To prevent the common cold and flu, avoid drenching in the rain for long. Keep yourself dry, Maintain hygiene and keep your house and surroundings clean.
This is very common and usually goes by itself in a week. Try to keep yourself hydrated, drink warm soup and take proper rest. In the case of high fever do consult your doctor.

2.Viral Fever

Also known as seasonal fever. It is characterized by following symptoms such as increased body temperature, pain in the body, weakness and the fever that lasts for 5 days to a week and is severe for first 3 days.

Take proper rest. Take paracetamol to bring the temperature down. Bathing with lukewarm water may also help to relieve the symptoms. Drink soups and eat fruits and light foods such as daliya, rice and toast.

3.Typhoid

This is caused due to contaminated food and water, lack of hygiene, and improper sanitation. The symptoms of typhoid are, fever that may be high, headache, diarrhea that may be severe, chills, pain in the abdomen, skin rashes and muscle aches.

4.Malaria

It is a vector born disease that spreads by the bite of infected female mosquitoes.The symptoms of malaria include fever, chills, illness is like the flu, the sensation of cold with shivering, headache and vomiting. In the case of children seizures may occur. Fever is followed by sweating and body temperature return to the normal along with tiredness..

4.Dengue

Again dengue is a mosquito-transmitted disease. The symptoms of dengue are fever that usually reaches 104 F to 105 F, body aches, skin rashes, severe Joint and muscle pain that may cause difficulty in walking and headache. Children may also complaint of pain in the stomach. In severe cases, serious bleeding and shock may happen.

It may be due to bacterial, viral or parasitic infection. It is usually transmitted by contaminated food or water.
