1# Papaya

Papaya contains vitamin A, C, B and antioxidants that helps in keeping the skin healthy and glowing. You can eat a bowl of papaya during the day time on daily basis to keep your skin healthy. It also helps in relieving you from the constipation and keeps bowel movements smooth. You can also consume papaya in a smoothie form by blending it with lemon juice and black salt.

Papaya mask is very good for exfoliating your skin and it also takes away blemishes from your skin. Take a small piece of papaya and mash it. Apply it on your skin and then wash off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes. You can also make papaya scrub by taking a small piece of papaya and add 1 tsp of orange peel powder to it. Also add 1 tbs of rose water or honey and mix well. Use circular motions to scrub your skin and remove dead skin cells. This will leave your skin smooth and healthy.

Wash it off with warm water and moisturize your skin well.

To keep dry skin moisturized, take 3 tbs of orange juice, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of milk, 1/2 tsp of turmeric and 1 tsp of honey. Add avocado to your salads and smoothies and you can also eat it with yogurt by making a dip. To make a face pack of avocado just take some pulp of the fruit and mash it. 4# Cucumber

Cucumber keeps the skin hydrated and prevents dryness of the skin

Cucumber is rich in fiber, vitamin K and C and it has high amount of water as well. Cucumber is used for reducing the wrinkles and it also brightens the skin. Cucumber can be consumed in salads, sandwiches and smoothies. Grate some cucumber and apply its juice on your face and keep some grated cucumber on your eyes for 10 minutes. This will give you relief from puffy or tired eyes and also keeps your skin glowing. Take half of grated cucumber, 1 tbs of gram flour and 1 tsp of rose water to reduce inflammation and acne. For moisturizing dry skin take 1 tbs of milk, half grated cucumber and 1 tsp of coconut oil. Mix them well and make a paste. Apply this paste on your face and let it remain there for 10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Apply a good moisturizer and massage your face well for that instant glow.

5# Pomegranate

Pomegranate is rich in iron, folate and vitamin C and K and this helps in keeping the skin healthy. It protects the skin from aging and UV rays as well. You can eat it in raw form in salads and add it to your smoothie. You can also add pomegranate to the yogurt for that sweet and sour taste and it will prove healthy too for your skin and digestive system.

For making the mask, take 1 tbs of gram flour, 1 tsp fuller’s earth, 1 tsp lime juice, 2 tbs of pomegranate juice. Apply it on the skin for 15 minutes and then wash off with normal water. This will treat the pigmentation of the oily skin and if you have dry skin then add milk or honey in place of fuller’s earth in same quantity. This will provide nourishment to the dry skin.

Cut two slice of chilled cucumber and place them on your close eyelids for 15-20 minutes. Alternatively blend a few pieces of cucumber ad extract its juice. Soak 2 cotton pads. Place the cotton pads in freezer in a plastic bag. In morning after shower place these pads on your closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes. 

2.Reduce Salt Intake and Eat Celery-

High intake of common salt or sodium chloride may lead to fluid retention and cause bags under eyes. So limit the intake of salt. Avoid table salt and other salty fast foods. Increase the intake of fresh vegetables. To reduce the curb for salt eat celery.

3.Green Tea Bags-

Green tea is rich in antioxidants that fights free radicals and slow down fine lines and wrinkles and other signs of aging. Green tea is rich in caffeine that reduces the puffiness around the eyes.
Steep two bags of green tea in steaming water for a few minutes and then place the tea bags in freezer. After half an hour place the green tea bags on closed eyelids and keep it for a few hours.

Potato is rich in Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C. Both the vitamins maintain the elasticity of the skin. Also they contain magnesium that relaxes your eyes. Besides this potato also have anti-inflammatory properties. Wash a potato and slice it. Put the slices in freezer and leave it overnight. In the morning take them out and place on your eyes for 10 minutes.

5.Neti Pot-

Neti pot is not only helpful in treating nasal congestion but you will also find it useful in getting rid of bags under eyes. I flushes out toxins and extra moisture. Also it treats seasonal allergies that may cause puffiness around the eyes.

Pour water and little salt in neti pot. With the help of neti pot pour this salt water into one of your nostril and drain it out of other. Repeat this every day.

6.Improve your Sleep Position-

If you sleep on your back it prevents the gravity from building up fluid around the eyes. Also add an extra pillow under your head. These steps will also prevent dark circles.
