Cucumber can be consumed in salads, sandwiches and smoothies. Grate some cucumber and apply its juice on your face and keep some grated cucumber on your eyes for 10 minutes. This will give you relief from puffy or tired eyes and also keeps your skin glowing. Take half of grated cucumber, 1 tbs of gram flour and 1 tsp of rose water to reduce inflammation and acne. For moisturizing dry skin take 1 tbs of milk, half grated cucumber and 1 tsp of coconut oil. Mix them well and make a paste. Apply this paste on your face and let it remain there for 10 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. Apply a good moisturizer and massage your face well for that instant glow.

Pomegranate is rich in iron, folate and vitamin C and K and this helps in keeping the skin healthy. It protects the skin from aging and UV rays as well. You can eat it in raw form in salads and add it to your smoothie. You can also add pomegranate to the yogurt for that sweet and sour taste and it will prove healthy too for your skin and digestive system.

For making the mask, take 1 tbs of gram flour, 1 tsp fuller’s earth, 1 tsp lime juice, 2 tbs of pomegranate juice. Apply it on the skin for 15 minutes and then wash off with normal water. This will treat the pigmentation of the oily skin and if you have dry skin then add milk or honey in place of fuller’s earth in same quantity. This will provide nourishment to the dry skin.
