Home Remedies to Help You Conceive

Every woman of fertility age dreams of motherhood. Some are however unfortunate and are unable to get pregnant even after trying for many months. This reflects that there is something wrong inside her and she needs to work upon that.

Some of the common cause of female infertility is PCOS, endometriosis, high, level of prolactin, physical blockage, lack of leutinizing hormone and inadequate hormone production. For most of the women who find it difficult to conceive is not that she is infertile, but there is a hormonal imbalance. Improper diet and sedentary lifestyle causes of hormonal imbalance. Just a little change in your diet and lifestyle can help you to rid of it and help you conceive again.

7 Home Remedies to Help You Conceive

1.Alfalfa-

Alfalfa is rich in vitamin A, D, K and E along with traces of minerals. It is phytoestrogen that balanced the production of estrogen in the body. Add alfalfa to your diet. Make sure not to lots of alfalfa, or it may cause depletion of minerals like magnesium and calcium. Better consult your doctor for the proper dose.

2.Rasberry leaves-

Rasberry leaves are rich in tannins, and flavnoids. It has been used traditionally to enhance fertility in females. Steep two teaspoon of raspberry leaves to a cup of steaming water for 15 minutes. Strain the concoction and drink it two times in a day.

3.Nettle leaf-

Nettle leaves are rich in minerals. It is rich in chlorophyll. Nettle leave tea is a stress buster and a uterine tonic. Adda teaspoon of fresh nettle leaves to a cup of steaming water. Steep for 20 minutes. Strain and drink it.

4.Make sure you are getting proper nutrition

Of your body lacks nutrition you will never be able to conceive. So pay attention to your diet and get proper nourishment from the foods you eat. Your body needs everything such as carbohydrates, proteins, essential fats, minerals, and vitamins.

Choose good carbohydrates. Eat whole grains, starchy food, fruits, and vegetables. Avoid sugar and processed food. Consume healthy fats. Saturated fats keep the level of lipoprotein low, they are essential for the absorption of calcium and also for the proper functioning of brain, nerves, lungs, immune system and liver. Essential fatty acids reduce the sensitivity towards prolactin hormone that suppresses ovulation increases the flow of blood to the uterus and increases egg white cervical mucus.
Good sources of protein are coconut, olive oil. Butter, avocado, seeds, grass-fed, meat, egg, and nuts. Avoid junk foods, refines oils and fried foods.
Protein is very much needed for hormone production and conception. Rich sources of protein are eggs, fish(Avoid fish high in mercury), poultry, lean meat, lentils, nuts, seeds, and dairy.

Caffeinates drinks, alcohol and refines sugar should be omitted from your diet list.

5.Adequate exercise-

Sedentary habits effects hormone production. You need to exercise every day but in the right amount. Too much of exercise can also affect hormone production. Exercise for 30-45 minutes every day. You may try a brisk walk, cycling, swimming or any other physical activity you enjoy.

6.Keep stress at bay-

Too much stress decreases your chance of conceiving. It affects the function of hypothalamus gland and negatively effects the release of eggs from the ovary. Try yoga, meditation and breathing exercises to keep stress at bay.

Besides this eat lots of fruits and vegetables for an adequate supply of minerals and vitamins and drink lots of water.

7.Reduce use of toxic products-

One of the most important causes of infertility these days is exposure to toxins. Avoid eating in plastic containers, Avoid caffeine, alcohol, smoking. Also, limit the use of cosmetics.
