When it comes to oily skin fruit face packs are considered best for you. Citrus fruits such as lemon, lime, orange and strawberry refresh skin and render a healthy glow to your skin. Citrus fruits have toner and astringent properties.

However, you also need to know that fruits are acidic and may cause irritation and breakout if applied directly. This is the reason we should always mix citrus fruits with other ingredients.

Fruit Face Packs for Oily Skin

Strawberry Face Pack-

Strawberries have antiaging property due to the presence of antioxidants. It protects our skin from oxidative damage, fights free radicals and reduces wrinkles, age spots and fine lines.

  • Also, it contains salicylic acids that fight pimples and acne. Folate present in strawberries promotes cell regeneration.

  • Strawberry Face Packs also lighten skin and fade acne scars and age spots blemishes.

  • Take a few strawberries and mash them. Add a few drops of diluted sweet lime juice to it. Mix and apply to your face.

  • Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water.

lemon is antibacterial and antifungal. Rich in vitamin C it is rich in antioxidants that fight free radical damage and brightens and whitens skin. It removes unwanted age spots, wrinkles, freckles and cleans skin pores maintaining the natural pH balance of the skin.

Cut lemon into two halves and squeeze its juice. To 2 teaspoon lemon juice adds two teaspoon buttermilk and fullers earth each. Mix the ingredients. You can also add yoghurt to it. Apply lemon fruit face pack on your face and neck. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off.

Banana Face Pack-

Banana is rich in vitamin C, Vitamin E, potassium and calcium. It promotes skin cell repair and rejuvenation. It moisturises skin and makes it soft and smooth. The vitamins in banana fight signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles. Mash a half banana. Add a teaspoon of honey and half teaspoon lemon juice to it. Mix well and apply on your face. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wipe off with a wet tissue.

Orange Peel Face Mask-

Orange peel is rich in citrus acid, and it removes dark spots, blemishes and tan. It fights acne and pimples, and your skin glows. Put orange peel in the sun to dry. When it is dried, grind it to make powder. To a tablespoon of orange peel, powder adds two teaspoon yoghurt. Mix well and apply on your face. After half an hour rinse it off.

Papaya Face Mask-

Papaya fights off oily skin and other skin related complaints such as acne. It renders even skin tone, tightens skin and removes skin dullness, tan. Papaya is an excellent exfoliator and removes dead skin cells.

Mash a piece of papaya and apply it directly to your face and neck or mix it with a teaspoon of fullers earth and then apply it to your skin. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse it off.
