What Causes Pimples On The Nose?

Pimples on nose can be stubborn and painful. They take more than a few weeks to heal but with simple home remedies, you can get rid of pimples on nose fast. 

Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Pimples On Nose

Ice

Ice not only reduces pain but also decreases inflammation and swelling by constricting the blood vessels. Rubbing ice on the pimples on nose provides temporary relief and reduces the redness.

What to do – Take a few ice cubes and wrap them in a washcloth. Gently press the ice against the pimples. Do this for 20 minutes. Repeat this at least three to four times in a day.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar reduces swelling and inflammation. It has pH similar to our skin that restore the normal pH balance of our skin. Acids present in apple cider vinegar removes dead skin cells.

* Do not use undiluted apple cider vinegar, as it is very potent and may cause irritation.

What to do – To 1/4 cup of water add a few drops of apple cider vinegar. With the help of a cotton ball apply the solution on pimple and let it dry. After 10 minutes, wash it off.  Repeat this 3 to 4 times a day.

Lemongrass oil– 

Lemongrass oil has antimicrobial properties. In addition, it works as skin toner and an astringent.

What to do – Add a few drops of lemongrass oil in 1/4 cup of water. With the help of a cotton ball apply the solution to the affected area.  Let it dry and then rinse it off.

Baking soda balance the skin pH and dries the pimple. It reduces redness and soothes the skin.

What to do – To one fourth teaspoon baking soda add sufficient amount of water to make a paste. Apply the paste with the help of your clean finger on the pimple and leave it to dry. This is followed by rinsing of the baking soda with water. Repeat this at least 2 times in a day.

Witch Hazel

Witch hazel contains tannin that reduces acne, inflammation and swelling and soothes redness.

What To Do – With the help of a cotton ball apply Witch Hazel to the pimple let it dry for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat this at least once in a day.

Lemon Peel – 

Lemon peel has antimicrobial properties. It kills the bacteria that contribute to acne formation. 

What to do – Squeeze the lemon peel and gently rub the lemon peel extract on the pimples for at least five minutes.  Leave it for 15 minutes with water.  Repeat this at least 2 times in a day

To prevent pimples on nose it is very important that you wash your face gently with warm water at least two times in a day. Avoid scrubbing the lesion. Avoid frequently touching your nose or skin as it transfers the dirt to skin and contributes to breakout. If you have, an oily skin make sure to avoid oil – based makeup. Better, use non-comedogenic skin care products.
