Well there will be many options to deal with your menstrual cycle that make you feel comfortable and hygiene.  

Pads are the best option made of cotton and are available in different shape & sizes. Most women like to use due to its sticky strips, it easily attached in a particular place for long hours.

The uses of tampons are often convenient for girls during the first period they are cotton plugs. Sometimes considered better than pads for girls who are part of the sports. But it should do not exceed 8 hours continuously because it increases the risk of infection.

The menstrual cup also preferred by some women, which made of silicon and reusable. It eliminates the need for tampons and pads.

Some Precautions Should Be Taken During Periods

#1. You should keep track of your periods dates. It will help you manage with periods better, and it will not let you get unpleasant surprises when it comes.

#2. If you are suffering from heavy or huge bleeding or no bleeding then contact your doctor immediately.

#3, Do not take any medication for mild bearable cramps. You can ask your doctor about using an over-the-counter pain reliever or anti-inflammatory drug when the pain is intolerable.

#4. If you are experiencing severe PMS that is causing you daily life, in such condition, it’s better to go to the doctor and tell about your condition.

#5. If you are experiencing an irregular period more than one year, consult a doctor.

#5. Do not use tight-fitting clothes and underwear during your periods as they make you feel more uncomfortable.

#6. Avoid intake of caffeine, sweets and carbonated drinks. They can cause your stomach a burning sensation, pain, cramps, bloated feeling.

#7. During your period, you should avoid vigorous workout and exercise, no yoga asana and no pranayam.

Some Periods Life Hacks

1.  Drink more water, when you feel bloated, puffy the more water you drink, the better.

2. Avoid eating of hot & spicy, oily and fatty foods.

3. Keep your vaginal area neat & clean. Change your sanitary pad after four hours to prevent infection.

4. It’s better to wash your vagina with warm water with mild v-wash or soap will help you remain clean and keep odour away.

5. Always wear cotton underwear this will help you feel more comfortable.

6. If you do not want to do anything, taking a short nap will help you feel rejuvenated and refreshed.

7. No strength exercise, go for long walks and do some upper bodywork.

8. You should intake herbal tea like ginger tea, green tea, peppermint tea, chamomile leaf hot tea, it makes me feel better and helps in blotting yours during your period.
