  • Consume more fruits in the rainy season as fruits help increase immunity and restore energy. Apple, mangoes, pomegranates, and pears are some of the best fruits you could eat. Some bitter vegetables and herbs like bitter gourd, neem also help to protect against infections.
  • You must have warm drinks and fluids in the monsoon. Boil water with ginger, tulsi and honey and drink the juice, as its great mechanism for digestion and protect viral infection.

Maintain Good Personal Hygiene

  • If you suspect that black mould is growing in your home, use baking soda or vinegar to remove it. Dissolve some baking soda or vinegar into the water, use a spray bottle or dip a cloth to wipe it off.

  • Your hands are the biggest infection carriers so, don’t rub or touch your face and eyes with hands because there are possibilities of transferring harmful germs which could make you sick.
  • Taking a shower immediately after getting in the rain can also protect your body from harmful infections.
