Endometriosis is a medical condition where the lining of the uterus grows outside it and causes pain in that area. This effects the ovaries, Fallopian tubes and lining of the pelvis. The endometrial lining acts normally when it is inside the lining of the uterus and bleeds every cycle.
Endometriosis
When it is outside the uterus lining then it has no way to exit the body and it becomes trapped and therefore forms cysts in the body. These cysts ranges from being normal to harmful for our body.
When menstrual blood enters into the pelvis and Fallopian tubes instead of leaving the body.
It is caused by surgical procedures like C-section and hysterectomy.
Due to immune system disorder, the endometrial continues to grow outside the lining of the uterus and it is not destroyed.
Examination
A pelvic examination will be done by the doctor that will show the cysts or abnormalities behind the uterus. An ultrasound will reveal the cysts if there will be any on the lining of the uterus. Laparoscopy will help in revealing the signs of endometriosis outside your uterus.
How To Diagnose Endometriosis
If you take a warm bath or place a heat pad on your lower abdomen area then this will give you relief from the pain and relax the pelvic muscles. Heating pads also help in relieving the pain caused during menstruation.
Castor Oil
When castor oil is massaged in the abdominal area then it gives relief from the pain. Mix it with few drops of essential oil and it will give relief from the pelvic pain and relaxes the muscles of pelvic area as well.

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that helps in easing down the pelvic pain caused due to endometriosis. Take 1 cup of water and boil it and add 1 tsp of turmeric and ginger powder to it. Let it boil for 5 minutes and drink it three times in a day.
To get rid of the pain caused by endometriosis, eat food that has anti-inflammatory properties like green vegetables, broccoli, salmon, chia seeds, ginger, celery and blueberries.
Ginger Tea
Ginger also has anti-inflammatory properties that helps in easing off the pelvic pain. It helps in treating nausea and comforts pain as well. Boil 1 cup of water and add 1/2 tsp of ginger to it. Let it boil for 5 minutes and then add honey to it. Drink 2-3 times in a day to get relief from the pain.

Taking proper rest helps in relieving the pain in the pelvic area and also keeps you in comfort. It is a good idea to lie down with a heat pad on your lower abdomen area to cure the pain caused by endometriosis.
