1# Massage

A gentle massage using fingertips helps in relaxing the headache and also increases the blood flow. It also promotes serotonin that helps in relaxing the muscles and blocks the headache signals sent to the brain. Massage your hair gently with your fingers in circular motion and stress more on pain-relieving pressure points while massaging.

2# Hot And Cold Compress

You can apply both hot and cold compress to get rid of cluster headache. Cold compress is prepared by using ice cubes and it gives a numbing effect to the headache. You can apply this compress at the back of your neck for a calming effect and this also helps in relaxing your neck muscles. Hot compress also helps in relaxing your muscles and if you take hot water bath with water dripping on your neck then this also gives a soothing effect to your headache. You can stand under hot water for about 10-15 minutes with water dripping on your neck area and you will feel relaxed after some time.

3# Rosemary Oil

This oil is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Mix few drops of rosemary oil in either coconut or olive oil and mix well. Massage it on your forehead and temples for few minutes. This will give a calming effect to your nerves and subside the headache effectively.
