One of the primary cause of burning in the stomach is eating too much spicy food. Alcohol consumption and drinking too much-carbonated drinks may also be a cause. Those who are lactose intolerance commonly suffer from sensation as if the tummy is burning. Gallbladder disease, gastroparesis, irritable bowel syndrome, pancreatitis, thyroid diseases and stomach infection may also be responsible for the same.
Too much stress may also cause burning in the tummy. Drinking less water or too much water also can be held responsible.

1. Aloe Vera Juice to Get Rid of burning In Stomach-
Aloe vera is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. It has a cooling effect and neutralises stomach acid. Drink a half cup of aloe vera juice every day half an hour before the meals.
*If you are suffering from loose motions or upset stomach better avoid it.
2. Thyme Tea to Get Rid of burning In Stomach-
Thyme tea is known to reduce the stomach gas and reduces swelling in the mucosal lining of the stomach. It also alleviates pain.
Steep a teaspoon dried thyme powder in a cup of hot water for 10minutes. Strain the beverage and sip it warm. Drink thyme tea two times ina day.
3. Baking Soda to Get Rid of Burning Stomach –
Baking soda neutralises the stomach acid. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda and half teaspoon lemon juice to a glass of water.
Mix well and consume it for instant relief.
* If you suffer from chronic hypertension better avoid it. Do not drink baking soda water for more than a week or it may adversely affect your health.
4. Apple Cider Vinegar to Get Rid of Burning Stomach –
Apple cider vinegar is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. It balances the level of acid due to its alkalizing property.
To a glass of lukewarm water, add two-teaspoon apple cider vinegar. Drink this solution half an hour before meals. You may also add a teaspoon of honey for taste.
Rinse your mouth thoroughly after having apple cider vinegar.
5. Fennel Seeds to Get Rid of Burning in Stomach-
There is compound present in fennel seeds known as anethole that smoothens muscle spasm. This, in turn, alleviates the pain and burning in the stomach. It also treats indigestion.
Crush about 3 grams of fennel seeds and boil in a cup of water for a few minutes. Strain and drink the concoction warm. Drink fennel tea three times in a day.
6. Caraway Seeds to Get Rid of Burning in Stomach –
Caraway seeds is used since ages to treat issues related to tummy. It effectively alleviates pain and burning sensation in the belly.
Steep a half-teaspoon caraway seeds ina cup of steaming water for 15 minutes. Strain and drink the concoction warm two times in a day.
How To Prevent Burning In Stomach
Prevention is always better than cure. To prevent burning in stomach and other issues related to indigestion avoid too much spicy food and oily, alcohol and carbonated drinks. Quit smoking. Eat small meals at small intervals. Do not sleep or exercise immediately after eating. Drink at least 9-10 glasses of water every day. Eat foods rich in fibre but avoid acidic fruits such as oranges and grapefruit. It is also advised to declare the consumption of tea and coffee.If you suffer from burning in stomach often, it is advised to eat bland foods.
Never suppress your burps. Burping prevents stomach burn. Never sleep on your stomach. Reduce stress by yoga and meditation. Always sleep with head elevated. Follow an exercise routine. Exercise daily for 45 minutes.
