What is Dengue Fever

There is no specific treatment for it. But it is very important to treat it before it develops into dengue shock syndrome and dengue hemorrhagic fever. Symptomatic relief is given through pain killers and antipyretic medicines.

Take rest, drink lots of fluids, avoid solid foods till the fever subsides and consult a doctor. If you feel worse within first 24 hours after your fever decreases, it is an emergency situation needed immediate attention and you may be needed to be hospitalized.
