1# Turmeric Helps To Boost Your Immunity
This is the most common spice used widely in almost every household for its taste and colour. Turmeric has a substance called curcumin that has medicinal properties and it helps in treating many ailments. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antiseptic in nature that makes it a boon in Ayurveda for treating many diseases and for boosting immunity as well. Turmeric helps in fighting cold and cough and naturally cleanses the respiratory tract. Turmeric milk can be consumed daily by taking a cup of milk and adding half tsp turmeric powder to it. Bring it to a boil and keep it on low flame for about 5-10 minutes. Add honey as per your taste or jaggery powder. Drink it everyday or preferably before going to bed at night. It will help in boosting your immunity and also helps in giving a peaceful sleep.
2# Tulsi Helps To Boost Your Immunity
Tulsi is a plant that is found in every household as it is widely worshiped in India and it has medicinal properties as well. Tulsi helps in boosting the immunity and it also relieves from cold, cough, congestion and flu. Tulsi leaves has high amount of medicinal properties and chewing 5-10 leaves everyday on an empty stomach helps in boosting the immunity. You can also prepare tulsi tea by taking 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil. Add 1 tsp jaggery to it and let it simmer on low flame for 5 minutes. Strain this concoction in a cup and add 1 tsp lemon juice to this. Mix well and drink it twice in a day to get rid of cough and cold. Tulsi has antioxidants that helps in protecting the body from the damage done by free radicals and boosts the immunity.
3# Amla Helps To Boost Your Immunity
Amla is a rich source of iron and vitamin C and it also helps in boosting immunity. It detoxifies the body and flushes out toxins from it to keep it clean and healthy. Being rich in vitamin C, amla boosts the white blood cells in the body that helps in fighting off the infection in the body and keeps us healthy. To prepare amla juice, you need 5-6 chopped raw amla, 1 tbs sliced ginger and 4-5 mint leaves. You can also use coriander leaves instead of mint leaves. Mix all the ingredients in a mixer and grind them well. Strain the juice in a glass and add some honey to it along with some black salt. Drink this daily in the morning to keep yourself fit and healthy.
4# Giloy Helps To Boost Your Immunity
Giloy herb is used widely in medicines and is also consumed in the form of juice to boost the immunity. It helps in fighting off the bacteria and several viral infections. It has antioxidants that fights from free radicals and keeps the cells healthy. Giloy also helps in treating liver diseases and also removes toxins from the body. It helps in purifying the blood. To make Giloy juice you need few leaves of tulsi, half tsp black pepper powder, 4 cloves of garlic (crushed), half inch grated ginger, 1 tsp fennel seeds and 1 tsp methi seeds. Take a cup of water and add these ingredients to it. Let it boil for 5-10 minutes on low flame. When the water remains half and becomes slightly thick then switch off the flame and let it cool down. You can strain this mixture and store in a glass jar. Take half tsp of giloy mixture to make a glass of immunity drink in one go.
