Eye floaters are caused by age related changes in your eyes, torn retina, inflamed eyes or certain eye medical conditions. These might appear to you in different shapes and sizes like clouds, fibrous strands, flashes of light, rings or dots.

There are certain home remedies that helps in treating eye floaters in an effective way. Let’s take a look at them:

Castor Oil

Castor oil is very effective in treating eye infections and it also improves the eyesight. It contains ricinoleic acid that helps in treating inflammation in the eyes and contains antioxidants that are very healthy for the eyes. Take pure and organic castor oil and with the help of a dropper put 1-2 drops in your eyes at bedtime. Close your eyes and go off to sleep and then wash your eyes next morning. You will notice change in the appearance of eye floaters and they will not appear after some time.

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add 1 tsp of green tea to it. Let it simmer for atleast 5 minutes and then strain it in a cup. Wait for it to cool down and then add some honey to it. Consume this tea immediately and do this thrice in a day. This will improve your eyesight and keep your vision healthy.

Lemon Juice

Lemon is rich in vitamin C and contains antioxidants that helps in slowing down the process of macular degeneration and also keeps eye infections at bay. This also helps in preventing the appearance of eye floaters in your vision. Take half of a lemon and 1 glass of water with some honey. Mix honey and lemon in the water and consume it immediately. You need to consume this 3-4 times in a day. This will not only detoxify your body but also keep your vision healthy and prevent eye floaters.

Mix them well and then dip cotton pads in this mixture. Squeeze out the excess water and then place these cotton pads on your eyes for half an hour or so. This should be done once or twice in a day on daily basis.
