1.Aloe vera-

Aloe vera hydrates skin. It is rich in minerals and vitamins. It treats dryness and heals the skin around the eyes.
Extract the gel of fresh aloe vera leaf and apply the gel around your eyes. Massage for 2 minutes gently. Leave it for 5-10 minutes and then wash it off. Repeat this once every day.

2. Yogurt-

Yogurt not only has hydrating properties but also removes the scars and pigmentation. Apply yogurt around your eyes. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash it off. If you are allergic to dairy products better avoid it.

3.Cucumber-

Cucumber is rich in water content. It rejuvenates the skin and keeps it moisturized. Also, it reduced swelling and puffiness under the eyes. As cucumber has bleaching properties, it eliminates the dark circles.

Extract the juice of cucumber and refrigerate it for half an hour. With the help of a cotton ball apply the cucumber juice around the eyes. Leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat it two times in a day.

4.Whole milk-

Whole milk is rich in fat content. It makes skin soft and glowing. Being rich in lactic acid content milk exfoliates dry and flaky skin. Soak a cotton ball with milk and apply it around the eyes. Leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with water. Do this every day.

Peel one-fourth avocado, grate it and apply it under the eyes. Leave it for 15 minutes. With the help of a wet tissue rinse it off. Repeat this everyday.

6.Egg yolk-

Being rich in vitamin A and lecithin egg yolk effectively reduces dryness around the eyes. It also has a skin-tightening effect.
Whip an egg and extract egg yolk. Add half teaspoon milk powder and half teaspoon honey to it and mix the ingredients. Apply the pack around your eyes. Leave it to dry. After 20 minutes rinse it off.

7.Shea butter-

Shea butter hydrates the skin. It is anti-inflammatory and has anti-oxidant properties. Gently massage the area around your eyes with shea butter to keep the skin wrinkle-free and fresh.

8.Almond oil-

Almond oil is known to repair the skin. It works like wonders to treat dry skin. It is rich in vitamin E,moisturizes the skin and removes wrinkles and fine lines.
Massage the skin around the eyes with almond oil gently with your fingers. Leave it overnight. Repeat this every night.

Home remedies to get rid of dry skin around the eyes are effective and safe. But you also need to pay attention to what you should eat and what to avoid to prevent dryness around the eyes.
Citrus fruits for example grapefruits, orange, berries, and pineapple, are rich in vitamin C and keeps skin moisturized. Add green leafy vegetables broccoli, celery, cabbage, pumpkin, beets and potatoes rich in vitamins and minerals to your diet. Foods rich in proteins such as legume pulses, chicken, eggs are needed to repair skin. Green tea rich in antioxidants. Also, add seas food and nuts rich in omega-3 fatty acids to your diet. Dairy and whole grains are also to be consumed. Drink lots of water and avoid processed foods, refined sugar and fried or spicy foods.
