If you think that acne develops only on the face of teenagers or adolescents than you are wrong. Acne may also develop on back, shoulders, chest, and neck. They may leave a scar and make it difficult for you to wear your favorite dress. And if you are planning to wear a bikini and enjoy seashore and beaches than just forget it. Acne and acne scars on chest, shoulders, and back are easily noticeable and really embarrassing.

Acne develops due to hormonal imbalance. Other reasons for body acne are a lack of hygiene, improper diet, excessive exposure to sun and heat and excessive sweating.

Do not worry as I will introduce you to certain home remedies to get rid of body acne and acne scars fast. Try them and get a clear skin.

Home Remedies to Get Rid of Body Acne

1.Baking Soda

You can easily find baking soda in your kitchen and you can prepare a scrub from it. Baking soda scrub will help you get clear smooth acne free skin. You may apply this scrub to get rid of body acne as well as face acne. Take a tablespoon of baking soda and add sufficient quantity of water to it to make a smooth paste.

Apply this paste to acne prone area and acne scar. Keep it for 15 minutes. In case of acne scars sllighly rub it for two minutes. Rinse it off with cool water. If you have sensitive skin better avoid it.

2.Cucumbers

Cucumber has cleansing properties. Also, it removes the excessive oil. Once the dirt, debris and excess oil are removed from the body the skin pores are unclogged. Also, cucumbers render cooling sensation and soothe inflammation. Take a cucumber and grind it to make a paste. Apply the paste to the affected areas. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.

3.Honey

Honey is antibacterial and antiseptic. It is very useful in treating most of the skin diseases. It keeps skin hydrated and also soothes inflammation. If you add turmeric to it its effects are enhanced as turmeric itself is bowed with antiseptic properties.

Add a teaspoon of turmeric to 4 teaspoon honey. Mix both the ingredients properly and apply it to acne prone areas on your body. After 15 minutes wash it off with plain water.

4.Oatmeal

Oat meal is one of the best home remedies we have for body acne that also causes itching. Oatmeal forms a protective layer over the skin and soothes acne. Add 2 tablespoon of oatmeal to your bath tub and immerse yourself in it for 20 minutes, Repeat this once in a week and you will feel relieved.

You can even make an oatmeal scrub to exfoliate and clean your skin. For this add a teaspoon of honey and juice of a half lemon to 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and apply to the affected area. After 20 minutes rinse it off.

5.Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is antibacterial. It maintains the skin pH and prevents acne breakouts. Do not apply it directly to your skin. Dilute apple cider vinegar with equal amounts of water and with the help of cotton swab apply this dilution on the affected area.

6.Green tea

The health benefits of green tea is no more a hidden secret. Green is also very useful in getting rid of acne and acne marks. Steep a bag of green tea in a cup of steaming water for 15 minutes. Remove the tea back and let the beverage to cool. Apply this solution to your back chest and other acne prone area. Repeat this daily once. This will reduce inflammation, sebum production and dryness.

7.Margosa

Margosa leaves or neem leaves also have antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Collect a few margosa leaves and crush them adding water. Make a thin paste and apply it to the affected areas. Leave it for 30 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat this daily.

You may try any of the home remedies to get rid of body acne. For best results repeat than 2 times in a week and in a couple of months, you will see the results.
