Here are some effective home remedies that helps in reducing the pores on the skin and make it appear soft and flawless.

1# Egg

Egg is very helpful in maintaining the elasticity of the skin and gives your skin a tightening effect. It tames down the aging and shrinks the enlarged pores. Take 1 egg white, 2 tbs oatmeal and 2 tbs lemon juice. Mix them well to form a paste and then apply this paste on your face. Let it stay on your skin for half an hour and then wash your face with normal water. Applying this paste twice in a week will tighten your pores and give your skin a flawless look.

2# Papaya

Papaya has toning and tightening properties that keeps the aging of the skin at bay and keeps the skin tight. It helps in purifying the skin by unclogging the pores and removing dirt from them. Take few pieces of a ripe papaya and mash it to a smooth paste. Apply this paste on your face for 20 minutes and then wash off with normal water. You can apply this mask every alternate day to get smooth and ageless skin.

3# Besan or Chickpea Flour

Besan is known to be the best exfoliator for the skin that takes off the dead cells and gives our skin a fresh and smooth look. It also helps in tightening the open pores and gives our skin a smoother look. Take 1 tbs besan, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbs yogurt and few drops of olive oil. Mix them well and apply on your face for atleast half an hour. Wash your face with with cold water and then apply a good moisturizer. You can repeat this process twice a week to get soft and refreshed skin.

4# Cucumber

Cucumber is highly hydrating for the skin and it also treats open pores by improving the skin’s texture. It helps in soothing and nourishing the skin. It prevents aging and gives a youthful glow to the skin. Take 4-5 cucumber slices and 2 tbs of lemon juice. Blend them together and apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water and repeat this process for 2-3 days in a week.

5# Argan Oil

Argan is very nourishing for your skin and hair as it has moisturizing properties. It also helps in diminishing the large pores on the face and hydrates the skin as well. Take few drops of argan oil and massage it between your fingers to warm it a bit. Apply this oil on your face and keep massaging for few minutes. Rinse it with lukewarm water after 30 minutes. Apply this every night and then wash your face in the morning to get shiny and smooth skin.

6# Lemon Juice

Lemon juice also acts as an astringent that helps in tightening the skin and unclogs the pores. It also has citric acid that takes out all the impurities from the skin and clears up the pores. Take 1 tbs of lemon juice, 1 tsp of water and mix them well. Apply this on your face with the help of a cotton ball. Wash your face after 15 minutes to get flawless skin. You can apply this on daily basis on your face to minimize your skin pores.
