1. Baking Soda To Reduce Red And Itchy Rash-

Baking soda has the property to dry the skin rashes and thus relieves inflammation and itching.

To three part of water add a part of baking soda and apply it to the affected part. You may also add baking soda to coconut oil and use it in the same way. Leave the paste on your skin for 15 minutes and then wash it off.

*Make sure not to leave baking soda paste on your skin for long or it may cause irritation.

2. Cold Compress to Reduce Red And Itchy Rash-

if the rash is caused due to summer heat, poison ivy, insect bite or even shingles try cold compress for relief. This will ease inflammation, swelling and itching. Cold compress is useful mostly in rashes that begin to develop into a blister.

Takes an ice cube. You do not have to apply the ice cube directly to the skin or it may cause chilblains. Wrap the ice cube in cheesecloth and apply to the affected area for a few minutes. Repeat this a few times in a day.

3. Aloe vera To Get Rid of Red and Itchy Skin-

Not only aloe vera is anti-inflammatory but it also has antibacterial, antifungal, emollient and cooling properties. It is an excellent home remedy to treat lots of skin issues. It relieves itch and soothes the skin.

Extract the gel of fresh aloe vera leaf and apply it on your skin to relieve the symptoms.

4. Neem To Treat Red and Itchy Rash-

Neem is well- known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-irritant and antiviral properties. It treats a number of skin issues such as scabies, psoriasis rashes, eczema and other skin infections. Being rich in antioxidants it revitalizes the cells. Clean and crush a handful of neem leaves to make a paste and apply the paste to the affected area. After 10 minutes wash it off. Repeat this every day. You may also boil neem and then strain and use the water to take a bath after the water cools down to tolerable temperature.

5. Coconut Oil To Get Rid of Red and Itchy Rash

Coconut oil reduces eczema, eases irritation, soothes the itch and reduces the chances of secondary skin infection. It is antibacterial and has a cooling effect.

Apply coconut oil die only to the affected part a few times in a day.

Keep your skin covered, Keep it hydrated by drinking lots of water and practice hygiene routine like bathing daily, drying, wearing clean clothes etc. In addition, eating healthily is very important. Eat foods rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals. If you have hives, the best you can do is to prevent the allergen. Moreover, do not scratch.
