This can be tamed by using raw potato as it has bleaching properties that helps in lightening the skin tone and gives it a glowing look. Take a small potato and grate it in a bowl. Squeeze the grated pulp to take out its juice in a bowl. Add 1 tsp of lemon juice to it and with the help of a cotton ball, apply this on your face. Wait for 10 minutes and then wash off your face with normal water. Repeat this twice in a week to get clear skin.

Yogurt is the best answer for curing sun tan as it has lactic acid that helps in lightening up the tanned skin. Take 1 tbs of curd in a bowl and add a pinch of turmeric powder to it with 2-3 drops of lemon into it. Mix it well and apply this paste on the tanned area. Let it dry up and then wash off with normal water. Continue this process for few weeks until you get light and bright skin.
