As the winter’s approach our skin becomes dry. The most affected by dryness is our hands as it is most exposed to the water and dry winter winds.
So what’s the solution?

Many of us do not take dry hands seriously, but if ignored, this problem may cause cracking of the skin, bleeding and itch. And yes, it affects your appearance too.

There are a number of creams and lotion available in the market. They may be effective, but when there are so many natural solutions for your problem, why spend money on chemical loaded products.
Well, let’s not waste much of time in irrelevant talks and directly come discuss the main motive of this article. The main aim of our article is to introduce you to home remedies to get rid of dry hands. So let us acknowledge them.

1. Honey- You must have heard about the benefits of honey on the skin by your grandma. Honey is a natural moisturizer. It makes your skin soft and smooth.
Apply honey on your hands and rub it gently. After 15 minutes, wash your hands with lukewarm water and enjoy the softness. Repeat this every day two times. Your hands will become so soft that once grabbed your partner won’t leave them easily.

2. Glycerine, Rosewater, and lemon juice- This is what even I have been using and well satisfied with its results. Every winter I empty 100 ml bottle of glycerine in any empty body lotion bottle. It is then filled with rose water and also 2 teaspoons of lemon juice is added. The ingredients are mixed by shaking the bottle and used throughout the winters.

3. Olive oil to get rid of dry hands- Olive oil is not only a wonderful cooking oil, but also acts as a natural moisturizer. Apply it two times on your hands to get soft hands. To enhance its effectiveness you may also add equal quantities of coconut oil and double the amount of coconut milk. Heat the mixture a little. This mixture will provide you immediate relief from dry hands.

4. Yogurt to get rid of dry hands- Why think of any other home remedy when you have probiotic rich natural moisturizer in your freeze. Yes, we are talking about yogurt, which not only enhances your digestion, but also moisturize your skin. Also, it reduces itchiness and treats any fungal diseases your skin is suffering from.

You may also add a teaspoon of gram flour or oats in a tablespoon of plain yogurt. Mix properly and rub it on your hands. After 2-3 minutes, wash your hands and feel the softness.
This will also remove the dead cells besides hydrating your hands.

5. Egg yolk to get rid of dry hands- If your skin is unusually dry try egg yolk. It is rich in proteins and fats that will free you from the chapped skin. Take an egg. Break it gently and separate its yolk from egg white. Beat it to make a paste and apply it on your hands. After 30 minutes, rinse off your hands. Repeat this once or twice in the week.

6. Milk- And yes, how can we forget the milk. Its anti-bacterial properties not only provides a soothing effect, but also eases itching and dryness. Take a cheese cloth and soak it in milk. Strain it a little, place it on your hands and leave it for 5 minutes. Now wash your hand with warm water. Repeat this daily.

7. Aloe Vera- Aloe Vera has cooled, calming, soothing and antiseptic properties. Extract fresh gel of the plant and rub on your hand. It acts as a natural moisturizer. After 15 minutes, wash your hands with warm water.
