Mash one ripe peeled the banana with one tablespoon of sunflower oil and a half teaspoon of fresh lime juice. Mix well and apply generously to dry, well-combed hair. Leave for 30 minutes before shampooing as usual.
Potassium in banana helps scalp health; natural sebum-like sunflower oil conditions dry scalp and hair; lime juice helps adjust the scalp’s acid/alkali balance and smooth cuticles to increase shine.
Mix a teaspoon of lime juice with 300ml (1/2 pint) cold water, rinse through the hair before washing.
