You may also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil such as lavender oil or tea tree oil.

First of all, pour water in a small bowl and add 2-3 drops essential oil to it. Better use a glass bowl for this purpose. Now scatter bentonite clay over water, wait for 10-15 minutes to let it settle and to mix with the water and an essential oil blend. Now scatter the charcoal over the mixture and wait for 10-15 minutes, so that charcoal is absorbed naturally. With the rubber spatula, mix the ingredients well so that no lump remains. A thick and soft paste will be formed ready to be applied on the face.
