What are the Causes of Breast Boil

Boils are a painful infection of hair follicles that may occur at any part of the body including breast. Females of any age group may develop boils, but some are more at the risk of developing it. Breast boil like boil at any other part of the body as red, hard, painful lump not more than half an inch in size. In a few days, boil becomes huge, soft and painful and develops a pocket of pus on the top. In the case of severe infection, the skin surrounding boil is also red swollen and painful with yellow or white centre that weep, the crust of ooze. There may be itching before the boil development, fever swollen lymph nodes or the area around the boil may be tender and painful.

1.Hot Compress

This is the most preferred home treatment for breast boils. Dip a clean cloth in warm water. Wring out the excess of water and place it on the boil. You may also put some salt in the warm water. Repeat this a few times in a day.

White of the egg can treat breast boils. Whip an egg and extract the egg white. Apply it to the boil and cover the area with a clean gauge. Repeat this every day.

3.Turmeric and Neem Paste

Both turmeric and neem are natural antiseptic, antibacterial and purifies the blood. Grind turmeric and neem leave to make a past and apply the paste to the affected part.

4.Onion

Onion is antiseptic and antimicrobial. Slice onion and place them on the boil. Wrap to secure. Repeat this three-time in a day.

5.Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is antiseptic and can treat some skin issues. Apply a drop of boil directly to the boil. Repeat this two times in a day and get the desired results.
