  1. Baking soda- Take baking soda and sprinkle it on your palm. Now dip your toothbrush into the baking soda, after washing it with clean filtered water and brush for about 3 minutes. Baking soda not only helps you to get rid of bad breath, but also cleans your teeth. You can also add 2.5 grams of baking soda to a glass of warm water and rinse your mouth with it daily to get rid of bad breath.

  2. Chew lemon and orange- Citric acid present in orange and lemon stimulate our salivary glands to get rid of bad breath so eat an orange and lemon after washing them thoroughly to fight bad breath.

  3. Fennel- Chew 2 teaspoon fennel seeds. Fennel seeds are antimicrobial and kills the bacteria in the mouth that form plaque. Also, fennel seeds stimulates saliva production. Alternately, you may also take 2 teaspoons of fennel seeds and put it in boiling water and steep for about 15 minutes. Drink this tea 2 times a day to get rid of bad breath.

  2. Floss your teeth daily after each meal or at least 2 times a day.
  3. Rinse your mouth with water after eating something.
  4. Do not use one toothbrush for more than 3 months. Replace it after every 3 months.
  5. Remove dentures at night if you wear dentures.
  6. Regular dental checkups and dental cleaning is a must.
  7. Clean your tongue daily by scraping your tongue with the help of a scraper or spoon to get rid of bad breath.
