Homemade Winter Face Masks

1.Avocado Mask-

Avocado masks is best for dry and itchy skin during winters. It will supply your skin with nutrients such as vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. It softens the skin and keeps skin hydrated. Take an avocado and mash its flesh with the help of a fork. Add a few drops of olive oil. Mix well and apply the mixture to your face.

2.Yogurt Mask-

Yogurt is an effective as well as a simple cure for the dry and tired skin. It rejuvenates the skin, restores the natural pH balance, prevents skin from negative winter wind influences and makes the skin soft. Apply yoghurt directly to your skin and massage for 5 minutes. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. If yoghurt is not available, you may also use other cultured milk such as buttermilk, kefir or sour milk.

3.Egg white Mask-

If you have oily skin, then egg white mask is best for you during winters. The mask will tighten and refresh your skin. It will make your skin healthy, and also creates a natural barrier that protects your skin from harsh winds of winter. Whip an egg and separate egg white. Beat egg white and apply on your face. Leave it half an hour and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

4.Banana Mask-

banana softens, moisturises and nourishes the skin. It is gud for combination skin. Mash a banana and add a little fresh milk cream to it. Apply it to your face, neck and hands. After half an hour wash it off.

5.Lemon juice, Honey and Strawberry Winter Face Pack-

Strawberries are rich in salicylic acid that prevents skin from breakout. Lemon, honey and strawberry face pack is best for those whose skin is sensitive and becomes red during winter. Mash a handful of strawberries and add a tablespoon honey and two teaspoon lemon juice. Mix well and apply to your face. After 20 minutes wash it off.

6. Raw Milk and Honey Winter Face Pack-

Mik and honey both hydrates the skin and make it smooth and soft. Mix two tablespoon of milk and a tablespoon of honey and apply to your face and other dry areas of the body. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash it off.

7.Sunflower oil-

Sunflower oil is not just a cooking oil. It is rich in fatty acids and vitamins. It moisturises the skin and makes skin youthful. Massage sunflower oil to your face, hands and feet every night before sleeping.

8. Glycerin-

You can easily buy glycerine from the nearest store. It is a natural moisturiser that hydrates the skin and retains moisture. Skin thus becomes soft and smooth. Wash your face, dry it with a face towel. With the help of a cotton ball apply glycerine to your face. Avoid application of glycerine to eyes and lips.
